This page explains how cyberwell.my uses cookies and similar browser storage. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text records a website asks your browser to keep, either for a single visit (session cookies) or across visits (persistent cookies). Related technologies such as localStorage store similar data inside the browser itself. For simplicity, this policy calls all of them "cookies".
What we actually use
- PHPSESSID (essential, session) — issued by our server to keep your form session secure, including the anti-forgery token that protects the contact form. Deleted when you close the browser.
- cw_consent_v1 (essential, localStorage, kept until you clear it) — records the cookie choice you made in our banner so we don't ask you on every page.
- Analytics cookies (optional) — set only if you choose "Accept" or enable Analytics in the preferences panel. They help us count visits and see which guides people actually read. Statistics are aggregated; we do not use them to identify individuals.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your choices
On your first visit a banner offers Accept, Reject and Cookie settings. Rejecting leaves only the essential items above. You can change your mind at any time by clicking the small gear icon in the lower-left corner of any page, or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings — the banner will then appear again.
Blocking cookies in the browser
Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies per site. Note that blocking the essential session cookie will prevent the contact form from submitting, since the security token cannot be verified.
