These terms cover two things: your use of the website cyberwell.my, and the standard conditions that apply when Cyberwell Piping & Waterproofing Sdn. Bhd. ("Cyberwell") quotes for and carries out works. Where a signed quotation or contract states otherwise, the signed document prevails.
A. Use of this website
1. Information, not advice
Articles and guides on this site are general information based on our experience in the Klang Valley. They are not a substitute for an on-site assessment, and we accept no liability for work you or third parties perform in reliance on them. Working at height and on live water or drainage systems carries real risk — when in doubt, engage a professional.
2. Intellectual property
Text, photographs and graphics on this site belong to Cyberwell unless stated otherwise. You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link; wholesale copying for commercial use is not permitted.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site — including submitting false enquiries, attempting to breach its security, or scraping content in bulk.
B. Quotations and works
4. Quotations
Written quotations are valid for 30 days and are based on conditions visible or described at the time of inspection. If opening up reveals materially different conditions (for example, concealed corrosion or unauthorised previous alterations), we stop, explain, and issue a revised quotation before proceeding. You are never charged for work you have not approved.
5. Payment
Small repairs are payable on completion. Larger works follow the staged schedule stated in the quotation; we do not take full payment up front. Invoices are payable within 14 days unless otherwise agreed.
6. Access and site conditions
You agree to provide reasonable access, water and electricity at the site, and to obtain any consent required from building management. Delays caused by refused or restricted access may be charged at the day rate stated in the quotation.
7. Warranty
Each quotation states its workmanship warranty period. The warranty covers failure of our workmanship under normal use; it does not cover damage from subsequent alterations by others, misuse, or defects in areas we were not engaged to work on. Warranty claims are attended within five working days, and genuine workmanship failures are made good at no charge.
8. Liability
We carry public liability insurance of RM2 million. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the value of the works giving rise to it, except where Malaysian law does not permit such limitation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts. We will always attempt direct resolution first — call us before calling a lawyer; it has worked every time so far.
